Isaiah's Missionary Letter "Service"

So this week was a little slow. But every week so far has gone by fast but each day is so long. This saturday we had four separate services. In the morning, this part member family had to seperate the dirt from the rocks. So for two hours I shoveled dirt and rock while my companion operated this homemade sifting thing. He basically stood there and shook this cage while I lifted all the dirt and rock. Then, for another member family we dug trenches for irrigation pipes and holes for trees for another two hours. That was very tiring. Then that night we tried knocking on another part member family and they said they needed help moving this giant freezer, and a big tool box. Then that night, someone is moving in right across from our apartment and we asked to help and he said he has this big granite table he needs moved. So we moved this table and some couches to their second story apartment. This guy was so cool, a little loopy from some drinks but he invited us over for dinner this friday. Four services all in one day. I was so sore after that and all of yesterday. Both my companion and I also have never seen service lead to any teaching. But then, this guy DJ that we helped move in, texted us saying he would like to talk to us and would like a Book of Mormon! So yesterday, we met him and he asked us a bunch of questions. He was all over the place. He also downed three Budweiser's and three smokes in front of us. But it was a good lesson, we gave him a Book of Mormon but because he lives across from us, he technically isn't in our area, so at some point we will have to "pass him off" to the sisters that cover the area. We finally did something for p day. We went to top golf which I have never been before. That was fun. We aren't allowed to play actual golf so the driving range is the best thing we can do. It's been a good week.
