Isaiah's Missionary Letter "Blow Darts"

This week has been service crazy. We did a service moving dirt for four hours once again. It seems like everyone here has to much dirt and rock and they always call on the missionaries to help. So we were doing it for a member when their neighbor came out to help and do his own projects. We got talking to this non member couple and they randomly asked us if we wanted blow guns. So naturally as missionaries, we said heck yeah! They gave us four homemade blowguns with these ligit darts. So at the appartment we had this old whiteboard. So we turned it around and made it into a dart board. So in our off time we have been shooting these darts into this board. Photos included. We then also found this lizard and Elder Willden that we live with took it home with us. So he has been our pest control because when we find a roach we put it in with the lizard so it will eat it. Housing inspections are coming up so we will have to release him pretty soon.

So today being P day we wanted to do something. So the Elders that we live with have about 300 miles left on their car so they said road trip and we said let's go. So we currently live towards the top of our small mission and we drove for an hour past Florence to this Greek Monastery which is literally on the southern most part of the mission in the middle of nowhere. It was just dirt, rock and cactuses on the drive there. So we were walking the grounds of the monastery because apparently it's open for anyone, when a lady comes up to us and says that we aren't dressed right and told us to leave. So we got kicked out of a monastery today so that was interesting. Then drove another hour back home so the trip was definitely worth it. Photos included of some of it. We have a week and a half left of this transfer. You will find out next email what happens with me. With my luck I will probably get transferred again, or President will have pity on me and let me stay. Who knows. We have still been teaching Jake the pastor. Our lessons with him are really fun. The only problem is that he just doesn't see the importance of anything that we are teaching him. We usually teach a principal, then he shares his view on the subject. We have also been teaching DJ the guy we helped move into right next to us. He had us over for dinner this week and he cooked us steaks. Cooking steaks when your completely wasted does not work. He dropped a couple on the ground outside where he was grilling them and he gave them to us very undercooked. He's finally decided though to try and quit drinking but today he texted us and we met with him and he said that he's breaking up with his fiance and that sobriety is going to have to wait as he downed another four beers in 20 minutes. So he needs lots of prayers right now.
