Isaiah's Missionary Letter "Baptism"

So we had the Baptism this week on Saturday and it was so fire. After they were Baptized they shared their testimony and it was so good. They even wrote it out and because it was so good they gave it to us. During this week of us planning the Baptism they were curious about all the things that need to happen for the meeting. As we were texting them we told them that they were going to be confirmed at Church the next day, we were about to text them that we would call them when they sent this text saying "Hey the Methodists called and offered us a 2:30 baptism, with the Holy Spirit the same day, with cheeseburgers afterwards, and an 8% tithe, but I told them I had to talk to you because you guys were talking to us first." Then we sent the text that we would call them. That message was so funny and with the way that we sent the text it looks like we were actually concerned that it was true. They shared that at the Baptism for their testimony and it was so funny everyone was laughing. I also included the conversation so you all can see it better. Since we had the Baptism now we are like, well, who else can we start teaching. Well an answer to our prayers came when we got a call from an awesome person in our area saying that his girlfriend is interested. So we are like heck yeah and we just barely started teaching her.  She has had the lessons before but just never felt comfortable with it. She said that she now has that desire. So we are still teaching people which is exciting.

Apparently our area is the best for getting baptisms and finding people. Plus we keep having members drop more and more food off to us and its literally stacking up. We have a table dedicated for stacking more food that members give to us. We have had to regift some of the treats that we have received. We also were able to help out with some Christmas nativity events. We were able to get horses, goats and llamas all there for it. We had a huge turn out of both members and non members. We also have a bunch of members that keep telling us that we have to come over again for Christmas. So far we have a lunch, dinner, and evening all full with people. My companion who has been here for a while thinks that we are going to get lots of presents from them. We'll see. There's not much that I really need or even want anymore but it will be fun to visit with all of them.

Mark 8:35  "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it."

P.S. the other Elder on the far left in the photo came to the baptism as well, he also helped teach them. The guy on the right is the families best friend who baptized them.
