If you all remember a couple weeks ago with Brenda how we gave her a Book of Mormon. Well we found her again! Kind of a miracle for this one. It was late and we hadn't done any member contacting so I chose this one family we haven't met. We get there and no one is home. We turn around and there is Brenda walking her dog again. This time we caught her just outside of her house and was able to get her number. Since our first visit she has actually read a little of the Book of Mormon. She's not technically interested becauses she is set on her faith, just more curious about our beliefs. We told her we would love stop by when she isn't busy to discuss more of our beliefs and the Book of Mormon. She was down for that and told us to text her later to schedule a time to talk. We also were able to give out restoration pamphlets to two others which told us to come back to talk more. The work is still going on here.
This week I had the opportunity to go to the Gilbert AZ temple for my first time. My family was fortunate enough to come for that experience with me as well as being able to see my grandparents and great grandma from my mom's side. We were also fortunate because we were technically only allowed maybe 15 minutes after to visit but we got done with the temple early that we had about 45 minutes together. I'm not home sick but it was still fun to be able to see them again even if it was for a short time.
Apparently pickleball is very big here and after us playing last week almost our entire zone now wants to play. We had 16 missionaries all play just today. Pretty soon like ultimate it's going to get banned which will suck since its awesome to play.
