Isaiah's Missionary Letter "What the?!?"

So this week has been good, but also very crazy and it's only about to get more crazy. On Saturday we said goodbye to Elder Bly who just finished his mission and is going home. But since he left a week before transfers we are now in a trio with Elder Davies his previous companion. So now for a week we have to cover both areas. Elder Davies is also a bit much. Elder Mackey and him have some beef and the first minute together it came up so its been interesting with him now.

But on Saturday we were coming back to have lunch when we got a call from the other Elders in our district saying that there has been an accident and they need help. So we find them on the side of the road just smiling, there was police with them, lots of people, and we see his bike completely destroyed. So what happened was this person who was high and was driving recklessly down the road till he hits Elder Jex from behind. Thankfully he wasn't injured, just a bit shaken up and sore. But we spent the rest of that day dealing with that, then taking him to the hospital just to be sure. We then celebrated after by getting some waffles and ice cream.

Then that night we get our transfer calls, and let's just say, this mission is turning upside down. I will be staying, but my companion who has only been here for a month, not even a full transfer, he is leaving. To replace him, I am getting 2 companions. What?!? Not expecting that at all. I'm not too happy with that and some other changes that are happening, but it should be fine. We will make it work. I just don't know how we can fit three Elders in this tiny boarding which is already small for a 2 man.

But on Sunday we were able to have Tshidiso's baptism which was amazing. On gospel library there is a video of a story of some young men in Africa who invited their friends to join, and that's exactly what has been happening here. We call them our band of brothers just like the video. So it's been really good here, crazy, but that's what makes the mission memorable.

Some pictures from the baptism. Then it's a pic of what it's like to live in a trio when the boarding is meant for 2. Then there is pics of Elder Jex, the who got hit by a car. A bit dramatized, but he's all good. Then us celebrating with dessert.
