Sophia is 3 today!!! We had a quiet evening celebrating Sophia's 3rd birthday! It started with a nice dinner including pasta, salad and rolls and ended with a delicious 3-layer chocolate cake I made. (I thought three layers would be fun, since she is three. But that was a lot of cake. We had to give some to our neighbors.)She wanted the cake to be pink and sparkly, so she helped me make the top look pretty. I'll admit to anyone that I am horrible at making food look pretty, but I can make it taste good, and this cake was GOOD!
