Award-Winning Cake & a NEW Patio Door!

The cub scout blue & gold dinner was last night, and with that came the annual father-son cake decorating contest. This is the 2nd year Isaiah and John won an award for their cake decorating skills. This year they won for best 'Scout Theme'. The theme was heritage, so we decorated a cake that looked like the state of Utah with some pioneers and a covered wagon. (Complete with a pile of OX poop with the help of some mini chocolate chips.) They did a really great job.
















And last weekend my dad and John installed our Christmas present. A NEW sliding glass door. Ours was in pretty bad shape and kept falling off the track or wouldn't open all the way. It was definitely time for a new one.... THANKS MOM & DAD!
