This was the first time we've ever hosted Thanksgiving and we had such a wonderful time. The boys all played in the traditional turkey bowl and came home cold, stinky and tired. We had a big batch of biscuits and gravy to warm them up and then we got to play with cousins and family while we waited for our brisket dinner to finish smoking.
John was able to get his new table 'mostly' done, so we could use it for this big dinner. It was great because we sat 14 people (very cozily) at this table. We will need to take it back out to the garage at some point for some more sanding and coating.
