Football Games!

It’s been a tough football season for my boys.  Connor’s team (with John has Head-Coach) is 0 and 5, and they are both pretty frustrated with that record.  Then Isaiah started playing Freshman football for GP High School.  With almost 70 kids on the team it’s hard for the coaches to notice everyone and give them all a shot.  So as Isaiah patiently waited through 3 games as a third string player, he finally got his chance in practice to prove to his coach what he is capable of doing, and now he is starting middle linebacker.  He’s worked really hard and definitely earned this spot.  His first game as a starter he got a TD, an interception and was tackling like crazy.  Nobody got up the middle and his coach recognized him after the game in front of the whole team for all of his efforts.  He is pretty excited!
