4th of July Camping!

We had a wonderful weekend camping at Detroit Lake with tons of family.  We even had our annual Dutch Oven Cook-off which is definitely the highlight of the weekend.

Besides the HOT temps and LOW lake water we all had a great time.

John enjoyed a little pre-camping experience riding Uncle Kyle's small bike.

Sophia LOVED to walk Jackson! 
She spent most of her time walking him to everyone's campsite and back.

Connor was watching John carve his walking stick.

Isaiah won 1st place in the Kids Cook-off this year. 
He made a empanada type thing over the fire with a homemade dipping sauce to go with it.

Isaiah loved spending time in the water and especially on Uncle Steves boat!

Connor said his favorite thing was riding on the kayak. 
He spent a lot of time in that thing.

Sophia's favorite thing to do was ride in the canoe.

But she also tried the Kayak and liked that too.
