What a great Christmas! It was so much fun to open presents and it was especially fun to open the last gift under the tree. Unknown to me, John planned a surprise over nighter and when I opened the last gift there was a note that said I had 30-minutes to pack a bag because we were leaving for the San Juan Island! That was the best gift ever! He planned the whole thing and had the cutest little cabin reserved for us to arrive on Christmas day. So we packed our bags, brought some of our favorite gifts and movies and headed for the ferry. We arrived around 3:00 PM and it was a beautiful 2 bedroom cabin right on the water of Mitchell Bay. We had a great time spending time together, playing games, watching new movies and exploring the area. The boys did some crabbing, and got a surprise visitor from a huge seal. It was a great Christmas!
Waiting for the ferry to take us to the cabin.
On the dock right outside our cabin.
Connor playing in the water.
Isaiah on the ferry on our way to the San Juan Island.
It's always a beautiful view from the ferry.
Here is the Snug Harbor where we stayed.
We stayed in the cabin furthest left.
