The Blue and Gold cub scout dinner was last night and all the dads & sons were asked to bring in a decorated cake for judging. So, I made the cake on Monday and my two boys found a picture of what they wanted to do. Of course it was a sports related theme.... see the picture. They decided to make the teams Blue & Gold which was perfect from this years Super Bowl Colts vs. Saints! They even made the correct numbers on the players Offense vs. Defense. Colts were offense in case anyone cares.Out of 15 cakes there were only three awards and Isaiah & John won the award for "Most Creative". They were pretty excited!
I'm sad to say that we didn't take a picture of our own cake, this one is from the book we used.
